Cass is sent away on holiday with her cousins where she meets a boy on a secret mission. All the while, in the back of her mind, is her sister back home in a hospital bed.

A few carefree days away from depressing thoughts at home are what Mum has in mind. But at the beach Cass doesn’t feel in a very holiday-like mood. She just wants to fall off the face of the earth.

Cass is sent away on a camping trip with her cousins, far from the problems back home, but she’s in no mood for a holiday.
There, however, beneath the cliffs and among the rock-pools, she finds someone to talk to - a boy with a dangerous plan.
